Upcoming NSRC Staff and Volunteer Activities Around the World

2012

Additional events will be taking place in 2012. These are events that are currently confirmed.

  • February 16-19: Steve Huter will be attending the American Association for the Advancement of Science's (AAAS) Annual Meeting to be held in Vancouver, Canada.
  • February 21-March 2: NSRC staff Hervey Allen, Phil Regnauld and Andy Linton will be teaching a DNS/DNSSEC Workshop, a Network Management tutorial and attending the meeting to be held in New Delhi, India.
  • March 20-23: An NSRC team consisting of Andy Linton, Ermanno Pietrosemoli, Phil Regnauld, and Dale Smith will travel to Fez Morocco to provide direct engineering assistance to the Université Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah improve their campus core network and upgrade some point to point wireless links.
  • March 26-30: The Moroccan Academic and Research Wide Area Network (MARWAN) and the NSRC will hold a workshop on Network Monitoring and Management and Security in Marrakech, Morocco.
  • April 16-20: The NSRC and the Tanzania Education and Research Network (TERNET) will be organizing and teaching workshops on Campus Network Design and UNIX System Administration to TERNET members at the Dar Es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
  • April 22-25: NSRC personnel Steve Huter and Dale Smith will be participating in the Spring Internet2 Member Meeting to be held in Arlington, Virginia, USA.
  • April 22-26: NSRC personnel will be teaching and coordinating at the 10th Middle East Network Operators Group (MENOG 10) meeting to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • May 6-18: The NSRC will be teaching, organizing and attending the AfNOG 2012 Meeting and workshops to be held in Serrekunda, The Gambia.
